About Dragon Island
Dragon Island is a casual Chinese restaurant that focuses on serving familiar dishes in a comfortable, easygoing setting. It is the kind of place that works well for a wide range of occasions, whether someone is stopping in for a quick lunch, sitting down for dinner with family, picking up takeout on a busy evening, or arranging delivery for a meal at home. The restaurantโs appeal comes from combining practical convenience with the dependable warmth people often look for in a neighborhood dining spot.
A major part of Dragon Islandโs identity is its balance between speed and comfort. Guests who want a fast meal can count on service that supports quick bites and efficient ordering, while diners who prefer to stay longer have the option of table service in a quieter, relaxed atmosphere. That flexibility makes the restaurant suitable for solo dining as well as groups, and it creates a space where different kinds of customers can feel equally at ease. The menu style suggests approachable Chinese comfort food, with small plates and satisfying dishes that are easy to share or enjoy individually.
The restaurant is also designed with accessibility and convenience in mind. Wheelchair accessible entrance, parking, restroom, and seating help make the space welcoming to more guests, and the availability of free parking and free street parking adds another layer of ease for visitors arriving by car. These practical details matter because they reduce friction and make the experience more straightforward from arrival to departure. For many customers, that sense of simplicity is as important as the food itself.
Dragon Island also appears well suited to both everyday dining and casual occasions. The atmosphere is described as quiet and casual, which suggests a setting that is comfortable without feeling overly formal. This kind of environment often appeals to diners who want a meal that is satisfying but not rushed, and who appreciate a place where conversation can happen naturally. The restaurantโs ability to accommodate reservations further supports a more organized dining experience, especially for families, small celebrations, or guests planning ahead.
Another strength is its broad range of service options. Takeout and delivery give customers flexibility when they do not have time to dine in, while dine in service remains available for those who prefer a traditional restaurant visit. Alcohol service may add to the appeal for adult diners looking for a more complete meal experience, and credit card and debit card acceptance makes payment simple and convenient. These details, together with the restaurantโs overall practical setup, suggest a business focused on accessibility, reliability, and customer comfort.
Dragon Island also seems to position itself as a family-friendly option. The combination of good for kids, comfort food, and a welcoming casual environment makes it suitable for parents looking for a dependable meal with children. Small plates and quick bite options can be especially useful for mixed groups with different appetites and schedules. The restaurantโs straightforward style likely helps it serve both routine weekday meals and more relaxed weekend visits.
With a strong rating and a substantial number of reviews, Dragon Island presents itself as a restaurant that has earned steady customer interest and repeat attention. That kind of response often reflects consistency, which is especially important in a Chinese restaurant where guests expect familiar flavors, dependable portions, and timely service. For diners seeking a practical, accessible, and comfortable place to enjoy Chinese food, Dragon Island offers a well rounded experience built around convenience and everyday value.

Food was very good. I would recommend the pot stickers, the Pam fried Noodles, the shrimp with snow peas and the sweet and sour pork. The vegetables in all the dishes we order. We're perfectly cooked and yummy.

Visited March 17 2026..see my receipt. After having lunch 2 doors down at Roccos we decided to get a take out order because it's getting too warm to cook! I ordered the lunch special which was Mongolian beef (spicy) that came with noodles. Nothing special. I think it had too much sauce packed in a small container. I tasted the beef and liked they made it spicy! When I tried more later in the day I noticed the beef was really chewey. Not what I care for! Note this is Take Out ONLY! They have indoor seating but allegedly stopped serving inside after Covid hit. I think this is the only Chinese food in this town according to my girlfriend. Wallet friendly. No frills food. They forgot my chili oil but that's OK. I probably won't be back unless visiting in this area and craving Chinese food. The lady that took my order was nice so thats a plus!

You cant eat inside only to go. Food wasnt that great. Rice was okay but the chicken from my sweet and sour chicken tasted old and reheated. Same with the chicken from my fried rice. I will not be going back.
